Trimble GCS600 Grade Control System

The GCS600 Grade Control System is a highly flexible, cross slope and elevation control system designed to be used on motor graders for fine grading work. The GCS600 uses two AS400 angle sensors and one RS400 rotational sensor to calculate the cross slope of either side of the blade, as well as an LR410 laser receiver or an ST400 Sonic Tracer to provide elevation control. Using the ST300, the system allows stringline, previous pass, or curb and gutter tracing. Using one or two LR410 laser receivers, you can use the system for fine grading plane surfaces. The GCS600 system is ideal for applications with tight tolerances and finished grade work.

When you use the CB420 Control Box with the GCS600, you get software with a powerful range of features specifically designed for lift and/or tilt control on dozers and motor graders. For even greater speed and accuracy, the GCS600 system features a unique Linked Mode, which ties lift and tilt together and displays them as a single control. The operator can use Linked Mode to easily, accurately and consistently benchmark and adjust the system. By controlling both functions, the GCS600 grants the operator greater control over the material.

The Trimble GCS600-Cross Slope system is designed for motor graders and uses two AS400 angle sensors and an RS400 rotation sensor to calculate the position of the blade. This crossslope system allows the operator to select which side of the blade is controlled and to switch sides on a return pass. The AS400 is highly flexible with 100% slope capability.

The GCS600-Cross Slope is ideal for road maintenance, road construction, sports fields, embankments, and ditches. The GCS600-Cross Slope uses the CB420 control box which features dual LED grade displays, a graphical backlit LCD display, easy-to operate switches and buttons. When used with the GCS600-Cross Slope Grade Control System, the software provides the operator with a range of powerful features specifically designed for cross slope and blade elevation on motor graders.
